Felt like long time didn't wrote anything about movies. So here it is.
From the recent ones to the all time favourites.
Watchmen. Have you watch it? Ok. I have to admit, I'm secretly enjoy the movie. Haha. I know how much Rames and Jason they all criticize the movie but for me it was kinda good. Sort of like Sin City. Although Sin City was still the best, this movie was kinda good. It protrays how pathethic super heroes would be in a modern world where they are outcast.
It's almost like Spirit but without the "not so funny" humours. For me I felt the movie was not for everyone. If you dislike this kind of movies, you gonna dislike Sin City.
Slumdog Millionaire. 8 academy awards. Basically the movies it's about a boy who grew up in India taking part in the reality show, "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire". It's potrays all the aspects in our lifes. The bitterness also the hapiness. The movie is about the life of the boy and how he knew all the answers to those questions and also a liltle bit of romantic scene. It's pretty good actually but 8 academy awards? I beg to differ.
The curious case of Benjamin Button. It's about a child who was born old and grew young. For me this movie was ok but worth watching it in cinema. It could be dragging for some people but the storyline was quite decent. For 3 hours, it's worth it.
The Punisher. Ok, this is the movie that I would ask you to avoid watching it in the cinema. Not because it sucks so hard but because there is too many scene that will be cut off. Download it instead. It worth a watch. The storyline is very much predictable but still worth a watch. Somehow Punisher was better left at comic itself. The comic book was so much better than the movies. Yet this is still better than the first punisher.
Rescue Dawn. One of the must watch movie in my list. Great actors, great acting. It based on a true story where it happens during Vietnam War where the american soldiers was capture during that time as POW. The movie is about, how he was captured and how he plot the escape with some suffering details in between. A must watch movie of Christian Bale that is same par with The Machinist.
28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later. If you're a fan of zombie movies. These two is a must watch movies for you. It is seriously horrifying zombie movies. I'm sorry to say but Resident Evil franchise sucks. If you're a big fan of Resident Evil, I'm sorry but it sucks. The game was good but not the stupid movies. There is also Dawn Of The Dead, which is almost as good as these two.
